Bobby is a 20 year old, 2nd-generation Nitro Funny Car Driver in the NHRA Camping World Series — and the youngest Nitro Funny Car driver ever.
Bobby was born on April 23, 2002 in Barrington, IL. He had an instant need for speed, attending his first race at 2 months old.
Bobby began competing in Junior Dragsters at age 8, quickly stacking up hardware across the Midwest.
Bobby attended Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School and received his Super Comp license at 16 years old. Later that year, Bobby also made his first passes in Frank's Top Alcohol Funny Car.
At age 18, Bobby followed in his dad's footsteps and started licensing in the family Funny Car, earning his Nitro license in October 2020 following the St. Louis event.
Bobby made his NHRA debut at the NHRA SpringNationals in Houston, TX at 18 years and 6 months old — officially making him the youngest Nitro Funny Car driver ever — and qualified 7th.
Bobby is currently competing in his 4th season in Nitro Funny Car and recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing.
